Lexmark's Return Program cartridges allow for easy and environmentally-friendly recycling of used supplies. These patented print cartridges, available at a discounted price, come with a license agreement that restricts their use to a single occasion before they must be returned to Lexmark for remanufacturing and/or recycling. Once the fixed amount of toner/ink has been delivered, the cartridge will cease functioning, with only a small amount of toner/ink remaining for replacement purposes. Furthermore, the cartridge includes a memory update feature to safeguard against counterfeit or unauthorized third-party cartridges.
